The MMO-202ND micromanipulator features an oil hydraulic joystick and provides effortless three-dimensional movement. Since the joystick is of the hanging type, it allows manipulation at the user’s will and the hands are placed comfortably on the table. This oil-hydraulic joystick micromanipulator attracted considerable attention as an innovative model as soon as it went on sale, mainly due to the fact that it provides three-dimensional operation with the use of a single lever. Since then, it has been widely used by many customers, whose requests to restore the former shape and other features are found in this latest model. These features include a tall vertical joystick control section with a plastic rest panel and a full 500µm rotary motion. In addition, the slim drive unit and UT-2 attachment as an accessory make this model even easier to use.

This motorized drive of the coarse manipulator allows you to remotely direct the movement of the pipette into the field of view of the microscope. The larger the microscope, the more difficult manual control becomes. The remote control is the main alternative. The IM-11-2 is a microinjector with pneumatic control, which allows suction and injection of a microsample with high accuracy and efficiency, comparable to oil-hydraulic injectors. Equipped with a coaxial coarse-fine focusing control knob, the microinjector allows both coarse and fine movement control. Compared to existing pneumatic injectors such as the IM-9C, the IM-11-2 has greatly improved the amount of pressure change by rotating the handle, allowing for smoother and more precise control.

Maintenance-free pneumatic system.
This model features the same new mechanism as the IM-9B, offering smooth control by reducing pressure fluctuations in the handle. Also, this microinjector controls a large volume of fluid that can be operated pneumatically, avoiding maintenance issues such as oil topping up, refilling, or air bubble removal. Although such an injector was normally used to hold the cage, it can now be used for injection. This injector is a hit with our customers.

A new mechanism has been introduced to improve performance.
A new mechanism has been introduced that improves the parallelism of the piston in the syringe and prevents the possibility of an unplanned stroke. Fluctuations in handle pressure, which have many possible causes, have been reduced, making for smoother control. The new mechanism and drive are integrated into the handle, and although the handle itself has become larger, the overall design has been reduced and performance has increased by increasing the range of motion allowing for greater control. The microinjector uses either a luer-lock glass syringe or a very strong and precisely machined metal syringe, so feel free to choose whichever syringe you prefer. The specificity of this model allows precise control of both injections and aspiration: we recommend using it on the injection side after it has been primed with oil.
